HELLO, I'M LAUREN
your personal hype girl and neighborhood baker
I work with small women-owned businesses and CPG brands to make their social media feel less like a chore and more like something they are actually proud of.
Because the brands people can't stop following aren't posting more, they're just showing up like themselves.

HOW FRESHLY BAKED
GOT STARTED
I spent six years working as a graphic designer in marketing doing really good work for brands that made me feel invisible. Underpaid, under appreciated, and stuck in a system that recycled the same strategies for every single client and called it a plan.
Then I got laid off... then I got laid off again. Somewhere between the second layoff and the moment I decided I was done waiting for someone else to see my value, Freshly Baked was born.
I named it after the thing I love most outside of work, because I wanted to build something that felt like me, and because everything I make for my clients is built the same way a good recipe should be.
Fresh, Intentional, and made specifically for them. Never templated. Never recycled. Never one size fits all.

FRESHLY BAKED NOW
I run Freshly Baked from my home in San Diego, which still feels a little surreal and a lot like exactly where I am supposed to be.
I work with small businesses and CPG brands who are really good at what they do and just need someone in their corner who is equally obsessed with making their brand shine online.
Outside of work I am reading fantasy books at an alarming rate, baking something new every weekend, learning chess very slowly, and saying yes to every trip, hobby, and random new skill that comes my way.
I built Freshly Baked because I believe joy is a strategy. That the brands people actually want to follow are the ones built with care, shown up for consistently, and rooted in something real.
That is what we do here.
